O’Toole given a slow pitch softball to hit out of the park with regard to Trudeau’s handling of Afghanistan.

All he does is talk about how Trudeau called an election.

NDP leader and Fidel Castro fan @theJagmeetSingh parrots O’Toole about Trudeau calling an election. They have nothing intelligent to say.

Trudeau talks about what a great job he did getting Canadians out of Afghanistan. He worked closely with our allies, he says.

Does that mean Joe Biden? Yeah, he did great too.

@AnnamiePaul also has not much to say except Trudeau shouldn’t have called an election.

I think Trudeau knows that by now. He can read the polls. O’Toole should be thanking him.

Trudeau says he’s doing great to secure the release of two Canadian prisoners in China, and has worked for 3 years WITH ALLIES to secure their release.

Always working with allies and getting nothing done.

That didn’t take long. Trudeau brings up Stephen Harper who isn’t running in this election. Expect that a lot.

20 minutes in and nobody has talked about anything that impacts 99% of Canadians.

O’Toole points out Trudeau fought the Conservatives on getting foreign investment out of our housing market, and how the Liberals want to tax people on the sale of their principal residence.

Score another win for O’Toole over Trudeau.

Singh wants to put a 20% tax on sales of homes to foreign buyers. We already have this in BC. It has done NOTHING.

There are ways around it, and plenty of accountants and lawyers to help navigate around it.

I was wearing a sign that said ‘Children Cannot Consent to Puberty Blockers’ which is WAY too conservative for our Conservative leader to confront.

Singh wants to pay for all dental care, pharmacare, and long term elderly care.

Free money for all is what the NDP promises best.

Singh is right about treating addicts with compassion instead of jail. No plan to actually fix the opioid epidemic which is killing FAR more young people than Covid.

@yfblanchet cries that O’Toole has had 4 minutes more time than him.

Well in fairness, you’re not running for Prime Minister. You want to tear the country in two.
