Biden, Walensky, etc have completely, utterly failed on their vaccine messaging.

First, it was get vaxxed...it will end the pandemic!
Then, it was "JNJ might cause a rare side effect...lets pull it off the market."
Then, they went back to masks for some reason.

Now, it appears to be "vaccines sort of work, but sort of don't." That has been their message all summer. And this mandate basically reinforces the idea that vaccines...aren't going to end the pandemic.

They are a complete utter mess.

And 'whatabout Trump' isn't good enough.

These clowns were elected to be BETTER THAN TRUMP.

And they can't even jump over that lowest of low bars.

Trump was POTUS for 13 months of the pandemic, and had 434k deaths (33k/month).

Biden has been POTUS for less than 8 months, and has had 241k deaths (30k/month)...and that was with vaccines.

Not sure how anyone can call this a success.

I mean, we haven't gotten smarter. Biden is making all new mistakes than Trump, but they aren't better mistakes. And now, instead of the GOP screaming "But its a pandemic!"...its Dems screaming "But its a pandemic!" and we still are rudderless.

All so depressing.

Can we note that in an era where vaccines are critical, and their scientific proof and approval is literally life and death issues...

If any Biden supporter wants to defend this, 9 months or whatever into the Presidency, I'd love to hear the explanation why this is smart policymaking.

I think some people are just scared to admit that maybe...just maybe...our entire political system is inherently broken. It is easy to blame Trump, and now to blame Biden...but the system is just failing on so many levels, and neither political party has a good answer.

I wrote this last year, and need to revisit it. The science was politicized last year, and now again this year.

We need an independent, trustworthy medical apparatus to deal with such things, and sadly, we lack that today.

Biden is saying...the vaccine DOES NOT WORK. That is literally his message. That is what many people here.

Because if it worked, the vaccine would protect you from the unvaccinated!
