Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad informs the court why he cannot provide all the data to all the accused persons for which they are asking.
SPP: During course of investigation, investigating agency called various people, some are witnesses, some of them are just suspects.
SPP: Mobiles were seized, which contain their personal data. If I disclose all the data to all the accused persons, without segregating them, I'll be infringing their privacy as it contains their personal data.
#DelhiRiots #UAPA
SPP: I will file a preliminary reply regarding the same. This is not the prosecution because of whom it is taking time for the trial to commence.
Advocate Tusharika Mattoo: At least they can supply a list of documents upon which the prosecution has relied upon as per the directions of the Supreme Court.
#DelhiRiots #UAPA
Advocate Sowjhanya Shankaran: My client's phone was seized. Data was taken. At least that can be given. This isn't s privacy issue. This is material already relied on. I am only asking for the data upon which the protection has relied upon.
#DelhiRiots #UAPA
Shankaran: I am only asking for parole of the phone.
SPP: The FSL report has not come yet. I will inform the court about it as soon as I find out.
SPP: The FSL report needs to come before such demanded data is provided. I cannot keep distributing material against the accused. That is a material that has come subsequently to the knowledge of investigating agency.
Court says It'llll pass a direction that FSL may expeditiously come. Shankaran requests the court to keep her application pending.
Mattoo: Kindly all the submissions made today be recorded. Last time, we were not supplied replies by the prosecution so at least our replies be recorded.

Comparing the cases to those of other accused who were given bail in the matter, the court said the Petitioners "did not satisfy the ingredients to claim bail on ground of parity with the other co-accused...as none of those co-accused...were caught in an overt act..."
