He completed his matriculation from Nasra School & everyone in school remembers him as a simple, talented student. Everyone from his neighborhood to his batch mates during CA studies, from his colleagues in accountancy firms to cousins, know how simple & loving he was.
Meeting him was always a learning experience. His critical thinking and good knowledge on Islam always generated healthy discussions. He was strong about his religious commitments, and was vocal for his support to the cause of Pakistan’s foundational ideology..
I remember how he talked that Islam elevated the nomads of Arabian desert to the leading nation of the world under Caliphate, he believed and sometimes prophesized, like Allama Iqbal, that it is only Islam which can elevate us as a nation.
I urge all my friends to please share this post, spread the word and if you have any links in media houses, political spectrum or in any security agencies kindly raise the issue. I pray that may Allah (swt) protects Sadiq and hope that sooner or later he will be with us, ameen
