2.God expects us to yield our bodies, souls & spirit to Him to accomplish & fulfill His purposes in the Earth. Example, when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, he was battling w His own self preservation & yielding His self to God's purposes. Thats why He sweated drops of

5.restore to me. I must have knowledge & understanding as to what God's will is for my life. That begins w reading, studying, & feeding on His word. The word conveys His will. I CANNOT rightly yield my self-life to God for His purposes if I dont know His purposes. Reading the

6.word...the whole word, gives me understanding of what God wants & how to accomplish it. Know this, the word is from God, it is alive & living, but the word LEADS us to the God of the word. The scriptures point us to the God we r to have relationship w. Everything is relational.

7.This walk is all about our RELATIONSHIP w God. We must KNOW Him & He know us. The disciplines of Discipleship lead us &facilitate that relationship. They are NOT the relationship. They set the foundation of understanding we need to have relationship w the God of Creation.

8.If I just DENY myself wo relationship w God, I am doing a religious work & eating from the Tree of the K of G&E. But if I am in relationship w God, I do His will bc I love Him. I learn to trust Him, when I'm in relationship I EXPERIENCE His goodness, faithfulness & power etc.

9.Those relational experiences change me. Relationship w God teaches me to trust that if I yield my ways &wants to Him, the results will benefit me & humanity. When I begin to yield my self-life (wants, plans) for what God wants, I exude His presence..His life force. That life

10.force feeds me, empowers me, & effects those around me. I am filled w the life of God bc I've fellowshipped, encountered & fed from God Himself. The deeper my love for God grows...the easier it is to surrender my ways & do things His way. I learn to trust His ways r better
