Yall keep talking about yjh fucking kdj to the point he gets pregnant and they have kids together but no one’s talking about how the entire pregnancy is probably not so smooth sailing for kdj 😔😔😔

Hi yes, we’re gonna talk about actual shit that nobody seems to talk about with pregnancy ((and we’re gonna assume kdj physiology is similar to that of a woman’s/afab body throughout gestation))

Mood swings. Big thing with kdj, and they’re probably not the “oh fuck you i want ice cream pickles” to “plz cuddle me i’m so lonely”—this man will probably switch from irritatingly mischievous to concerningly pessimistic.

Don’t get me wrong, he’ll probably have intense food cravings (considering yjh’s cooking is godlike), but his mood swings are kinda worrying.

Like, his ‘blues’ episodes will probably rival yjh’s own broody personality and kdjc will lowkey panic about it.

Yjh, checking up on kdj: Are you okay?
Kdj: existence is futile and so is our endeavours for fleeting moments of bliss. Despite everything, we are still temporary beings in this cruel universe.

Yjh better feed the fuck out of this man with his best meals yet or else kdj will brood himself into misery.

Kdj lowkey stressing about his pregnancy ngl, he never thought he could carry a baby before, much less THINK he could even care for a child. But also will probably try to keep his shit together. He’s aware enough that the stress is a result of drastic hormonal changes.

Yjh and kimcom tryna calm him down by giving him things to distract himself from like books, random kimcom gossip and whatever they can come up with.

Kdj: *is slumped*

When that baby bump starts to grow bigger, there is nothing kdj will hate more with a passion than wearing shoes with shoelaces.

Dude got so pissed to the point that he burned every single shoe in the house that had strings on them.

The bigger the bump, the harder it gets on kdj physically AND mentally. Kdj slowly despising the fact that he’s getting more immobile and that does not do well with his mental state. (Something tells me trauma does not want himself to be completely defenceless…)

Yjh realizing that kdj’s sleep schedule actually worsens the further along he goes. It’s difficult physically to sleep for kdj, and paired with the fact this man already does not sleep much, is a fucking nightmare.

(Kdjc wants to knock him out with sedatives but—he’s preggers)

Lack of sleep of course, in turn severely affects kdj’s mentality. He gets lost in his own head too much, and I’m gonna bet the shit he comes up in that head of his is not the kind of shit you want anyone carrying a baby to have.

Yjh is there of course, trying to ground kdj by surrounding him with soothing touched, reassurances and food but there’s only so much you can do ya know?

Kdj doesn’t seem like the type to care about his body image, he’s more neutral about it, but even he would be shocked about the drastic changes to his body. Though the way his body looks is the least of his worries 😬😬😬

Feeling the baby move around in there, in his belly, doesn’t make him as ‘jolly’ as he thought. In his mind, it’s so strange feeling it actually alive and moving. The more the baby moves, the more estranged he feels. It doesn’t help with his anxiety too.

Baby: *starts kicking*

Now… delivering the baby… Kdj can *somewhat* tolerate the pain—well having burnt to death or ripped to pieces back then, but he had the benefit of the fourth wall—but it still hurts like a bitch. It’s his insides being ripped apart for this little shit to come out after all

The water breaks by random one day, and it was only then did kdj is hit with the realization of “holy shit I’m ACTUALLY having this baby” and kind of starts panicking while yjh preps to get him to lsw.

The whole delivery was really, REALLY tough on kdj physically

This man is dead fucking tired after it, and it was gruesome. the whole time kdj had such a death grip on yjh’s hand that yjh thought he’d actually lose his limb that day. There was a whole lot of screams that would probably haunt yjh in his nightmares.

Thankfully, the baby is alright and very healthy (thanks to yjh’s food that make sure kdj is well fed) but let’s be real… Kdj would probably not bond with the baby.

Considering kdj’s background, this man will probably get intense postpartum depression

You thought his mood swings were rough? His PPD would be worse. Kdj thinks he doesn’t deserve to father that baby, he dissociates, his anxiety skyrockets and feels so estranged and guilty he can’t bring himself to even look at the baby. He fears he’ll end up like his dad.

His depression gets so bad, it takes about a month of comforting, support and healing from yjh and kimcom for him to return to himself and start to bond with the baby.

He holds the child, smiling and giggling in his arms and thinks, maybe he can do some good after all.

((And yeah, that’s my two cents. Also yjh prob traumatized from all that to the point he doesn’t want to get kdj pregnant again unless kdj insists pfpfpfpf))
