One of the biggest excuses QAnon promoters use about why nothing ever happens is that we're in the middle of a massive purge that will not only arrest the bad guys, but also cleanse the world of evil itself.

That merely arresting Obama, Biden, Hillary, Soros, Gates, Fauci, and the rest of the folks QAnon hates wouldn't be nearly good enough. That evil itself is going to be defeated and it will never return once Trump is done enacting The Plan.

There are many problems with this. The first of which is exactly how these people define evil. LGBTQ+ lifestyles are evil, abortion is evil, feminism is evil. Inter-racial relationships are evil, non Christian religions are evil.

How exactly we turn back the tide of equality and tolerance is never explained, but it's made clear that Moloch is the one pushing for all this and once it's over the CisHet Christian White Male will run the world as God intended.

Beyond that we get into exactly will we remove the incentives for evil actions. How do we prevent the poor from stealing to sustain themselves? How do we constrain those seeking power from using unethical means to obtain them?

How do you manage to purge a person's thoughts such that they no longer think the way they once did. Two of the greatest evils in the world are the Confederacy and Nazi Germany.

The Confederacy was destroyed in a brutal four year Civil War that saw the Union enact "Total War" to achieve victory. Whole cities were burnt down, railroads destroyed. Some historians say that 20% of Confederate men ages 20-24 died during the war.

Imagine this level of carnage and destruction and after the war was over the South fought tooth and mail to maintain White Supremacy and it took a century to illegalize it even while the ideal exists to this day.

Nazi Germany accepted an unconditional surrender and was split in two for five decades and yet even now we have Hitler apologists and QAnon promoters post on social media platforms that cater to Neo Nazis. The horrific evils of the Holocaust are denied or celebrated.

I decided to do a search for an anti-Semitic slogan on Gab and wouldn't you know it. I got the Confederacy and QAnon thrown in as a bonus.

This is the infantile concept of 'defeating evil'. You can't banish evil from the world because evil isn't objective. QAnon doesn't want to end evil, they want power. They want to crush their enemies. They know they personally will have little chance to achieve that goal.

So they wishcast. They hope Q or Trump or the next would be dictator who promises to keep them on top of the social pecking order will get the job done. They want to "Enjoy the show" when all their enemies are powerless to oppose them.

They want all of this and they want to be able to claim that they are the good guys, they are the righteous ones on God's side who have defeated evil and saved the world. You should thank them for the service they do.
