Nicola Sturgeon said on the radio today “the legal protections that women have are very important to me as a lifelong feminist.” Oh really? If they’re so important why has she spent the last few years wiping them all out?

The equality Act 2010 is clear that it's legal to provide single SEX spaces and services for reasons of safety, dignity and privacy. But in Scotland Nicola Sturgeon is presiding over a government that’s deliberately eroding every single one of these protections...

Criminal suspects are already allowed to self-ID as women in Scotland. Humza Yousaf, when Justice Secretary confirmed that they don’t have to provide any evidence of their birth sex to police.

Transwomen who are dangerous sex predators have even been given places in women's shelters alongside vulnerable women and kids, including this one who sexually assaulted a 10 year old girl in a supermarket toilet:

Rape crisis centres are no longer single-sex either, one is run by a transwoman despite it being advertised for women only. There are reports of women excluding themselves from support because rape crisis centres refuse to guarantee single-sex services: thetimes.co.uk/article/mridul…

The Scottish Government put forward a bill that would have prevented rape victims from choosing the sex of their medical examiner. Their plans were only overturned when Labour MSP, Johann Lamont put forward an amendment to change the word “gender” to “sex”

The SNP also allow self-ID for all female short lists and last year put forward 2 trans candidates on AF lists for the 2021 Election. All female shortlists are another of the legal protections that women have that Sturgeon claims are very important to her

The SNP passed legislation which enables men who self-ID as women to be counted as women when they sit on public boards, meaning you could have 100% males on a board but it would be considered to be gender balanced if 50% claim to be women.

And the legal protection that women have in the 2010 Equality Act relating to sports has been completely ignored in Scotland too, with many sports being opened up to men who identify as women -

Single sex hospital wards are to be a thing of the past too if the Scottish Government get their way, they’ve already tried to introduce self-ID policies in health boards across Scotland:

And as for women’s changing rooms in sports centres - SNP run Glasgow tried to make them available on a self-ID basis including for cross dressing men. And if you complain you get reported for a hate crime! The policy is on pause but could make a return.

So which of the protections for women are so important to Nicola Sturgeon?
Answer = None.
The fact that she's been busy giving them all away proves she doesn’t believe women have the right to have them.

So the next time Sturgeon says the GRA doesn’t impact on women’s single sex spaces… THAT’S BECAUSE SHE’S ALREADY GIVEN THEM ALL AWAY!
