15 WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS/CORTISOL

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

Stress management is going to be one of the most important skills for the modern man going forward.

If you want high T, you've got to get good at this.

Let's get into it.

(Thread)
1. Get More Deep Sleep

This one's obvious.

2. Ashwagandha

250-500mg per day is all you need.

3. Working Less

Work less, live more. This one has the potential to open up more room for EVERYTHING else on this list. "Grinding" 24/7 = stress.

4. Spend Less/Minimalism

Why?
Because the old saying "the stuff you own ends up owning you" is very true.

Owning stuff = stress. Cars, boats, big houses, toys.

5. Get More Sunlight

This has a three-pronged attack on stress, in that sunlight itself is relaxing, plus Vit D, plus improved circadian rhythm.
6. Walking In Parks/On Beaches/Up Mountains

Get out of the city from time to time; nature heals. Our brains aren't really wired for millions of other humans in a relatively small space.

7. Yoga

8. Lifting (for one hr or less)

Yes, lifting REDUCES cortisol over a 24 hr period.
9. Cardio

Endorphins are the antidote to stress.

10. Sauna

11. Watching Comedies

Laughter heals, and has been shown to reduce cortisol levels drastically.

12. Laugh With Friends
13. Magnesium Citrate

Been proven time & again to reduce cortisol - definitely have 200-400mg in the evening.

14. Quit Instagram

It only seems to stress people out & make them depressed. Pointless.

15. Own A Dog Or Three

Dogs = close bonds = oxytocin = lower stress.
I talk a lot more about all of these in WAAAY more detail in the eBook.

It shows you EXACTLY how to get to 800-1200 total testosterone, which as a man, you need to have.

Without TRT. Only the natural ways.

Let's get to 800+:

150-200g PROTEIN: The Biggest Fat Loss Accelerator

(After Intermittent Fasting)
Last week I wrote a thread on the 7 Fat Loss Accelerators.

This was met with a little resistance on the "200g protein being unsustainable".

I want to expand a little on what I said here:
200g Is A General Figure, Not A Literal Figure For EVERYONE

The ideal protein intake for you isn't going to be 200g if you're only 130 lbs.

You won't need that much.

On the other hand if you're 220lbs jacked, you're going to need more.

200g is a very general ballpark figure. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

5 Ways Quercetin + Resveratrol Will AMPLIFY Your Fat Loss Diet

(check out this powerful stack):
Diet comes first if you want to hit 10% body fat, I'll be the first to tell you this.

But supplements can make a massive difference when you ALREADY have the dietary foundations in place (a deficit, high protein, nutrient density etc.)

Here's a pretty cool stack to check out:

1. Quercetin & Endurance

Quercetin looks like it can raise your V02 max, meaning you can get more cardio in and ultimately more calories burned.

Cardio isn't necessary for 10% bf but it sure makes it easier once you're sub 15% or so.

2. Quercetin & Blood Sugar

It also… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

You'll burn more fat.

You'll have more energy.

You'll enjoy the process, making the fat loss more sustainable, if you follow these Intermittent Fasting hacks:
San Pellegrino

This is one of the biggest IF hacks you guys are not using.

Really powerful for several reasons:

1. It makes it far easier to extend the fast beyond 16 hours - it's filling for zero calories Image
2. It's mineral-dense, which contributes to energy levels on a fast, PLUS it's good for pumps in the gym (combine with electrolytes while fasted to double down on muscular contractions/strength).

3. It's classy

It simply looks better than drinking tap water

7 Reasons IF'ers Should Eat Potatoes For Muscle Gain Image
FYI: This thread is NOT for brand new beginners, or guys who are obese.

Everyone loves to talk about steak/butter/eggs. Or glycine. Or grass fed this and that.

All good stuff.

But the leaner you get and the harder you train, the more important QUALITY carbs become.

Your… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
1. They're fiber-dense and satiating

This isn't the same as eating a plateful of pasta post workout - potatoes will not mess up your rate of fat loss...too much fiber and too many micros.

2. They will help to replenish glycogen and speed up muscle gain

(In ways that steak &… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

6 Reasons You Need To Be VERY Careful Following The Advice Of Young Fitness Guys On Twitter ⚠🚩🚩🚩

(especially if you've been overweight a long time, and have tried many diets before)
A lot of you guys are:

-Taking advice
-Buying programs
-Following diet plans

From 22 year olds who've never NOT had a 6 pack in their entire lives.

Not only have they never been overweight, but they've *always* had abs.

Examples of advice I've seen:
1. Eating tortillas, hot sauce, and cheese

This might be okay for an occasional refeed day, but these are all low satiation per calorie ingredients.

If you're looking to "lose 30 lbs in 90 days" (good luck) with meals like this, you're going to STARVE...or more likely... fail… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
