Imagine being beat so bad your eye needed to be completely removed because it was literally hanging on by the nerves , & having to live at a shelter for 6 months and only having interactions with the people that feed you twice a day, because no one wants a “broken or
damaged” dog. And being overlooked every day because your not as adorable or fluffy or young & desirable as the others there. Imagine your heart breaking and your spirit slowing slipping away from you a little more every day.
Because that’s what Bruno feels. . He literally has
been The City of Mobile Animal Shelter half the year. With NOTHING. No inquiries, no visits, when suggested to someone the first response is “uhh no thanks” “do you have any one else”
It’s terrible. And he really is a sweet dog given his circumstances, he is dog friendly but can
get a tad protective in his kennel. He seems to like women more than males but thats self explanatory. He walks really good on a leash, he knows sit, due to one eyeball I would suggest older or no children, obviously he is going to need someone to restore his spirit. And love him
flaws and all, someone who will be patient, and understanding that it’s not his fault that he doesn’t know the things that most dogs do,
He’s also actually a really small dog, (34lbs) and short, probably about 2 years old 🤷🏽♀️ I would love to see him go any where but where he is
currently.
But I’m starting to agree with Bruno, there’s not much hope left in the world for dogs like him.
Can any one change either of our minds and help him become the dog he deserves to be.& give him the chance he deserves to have. #rescueneeded#fosterneeded#fosteroradopt
stray on 12/12. This cutie is a volunteer favorite, because she’s just the sweetest girl! 💓 She loves treats and cuddles. She walks well on leash and has a constant wiggle butt! 🥰 She’s met other dogs through the fence and hasn’t shown any negative reactions. All Noelle wants

🌸Coco was turned on 1/15. The owner asked to have her euthanized, stating that Coco was "dying".💔 She stated that the dog had bad derm and was chewing on herself. When asked if dog had
been to a vet, she stated yes and that the vet said she had "flea derm" and that was why she was dying. Sadly, it’s clear that poor Coco wasn’t well cared for at home as she is severely malnourished, high HW+ and was covered in fleas. This sweet girl will need a vet visit, lot of

Kaya and Gabriel are a mother and son duo that came into the shelter and have been waiting for the perfect match. Our hope is that a rescue will pull both of them together. For this to happen we need pledges to help pay for
vetting and all of their needs. Please help us share and pledge for Kaya and Gabe so they can have the chance they deserve.
