"I go into the Upanishads to ask questions." - Niels Bohr

During our schooldays, we were taught about the extensive contributions of western scientists like Niels Bohr, who had come up with theories related to atomic structure, wave-particle concepts, etc.

cont'd..
However, one vital aspect which our school textbooks forgot to mention was that most of his research was deeply influenced by our Vedas & Upanishads!
Despite being born & brought up in a Chr!stian environment in Europe, Bohr had started showing interest in ancient Indian scriptures during his research as scientist from 1920s.
Surprisingly, it was the era when British imperials were actually portraying Hindu scriptures as "patriarchal", regressive cult, to pull away educated Indians from their own roots.
But on the other hand, scientists all over Europe were burning the midnight oil to study the same scriptures, to find answers to the mysteries of Physics & Chemistry of the Universe.
In fact, Bohr openly acknowledges in his biography that whenever he was stuck with a problem during his research in Physics, he would invariably turn to the Hindu Upanishads to find answers, and it never let him down.
Since the Vedas & Upanishads have been treasure trove of knowledge accumulated as a result of the efforts of hundreds of Rishis over thousands of years.
Not only Bohr, but even Schrodinger, Heisenberg, Oppenheimer, Tesla, and many more eminent western scientists in their respective biographies and books, have openly acknowledged the role of Vedas & Upanishads in formulating their theories & inventions.
Probably it is high time our schools start revealing this fact to inspire young Indians about our own ancient treasures, and most importantly, it is necessary for our universities to dedicate part of their time & staff towards research on our own ancient scriptures.
So that we can finally reclaim what rightly belongs to our nation, with due credits to our ancient Hindu civilization!

THREAD: #GaneshChaturthi

Why do we immerse Lord Ganesha idol into water after worshipping it?

- In India, for thousands of years Hindus have made idols and then immersed them in water. Many foreigners feel it is a strange thing to do.

Contd.. Image
Why is the God Ganesha decorated ceremoniously and worshipped lovingly for several days and then immersed in the sea, river, or lake? There is a beautiful concept behind this immersion.
The real secret of worship is in making an idol and then letting it disappear; giving a shape and form to the idol, and then letting it vanish onto the formless. It is all symbolic, the act of making an idol of Lord Ganesha, worshipping it, and then immersing it in water.

#VijayDiwas:

22 yrs ago, while our soldiers were risking their lives to safeguard our nation, the political class in India had witnessed 2 camps. One camp was the nationalist camp, with leaders like Modi who went the extra mile in meeting our soldiers & motivating them.

Contd..
Whereas on the other camp, it was the Kangressis who left no stone unturned in humiliating our own Army!!
Here is one quick example which shows the level to which kangress leaders could stoop down to: In one of the parliamentary sessions during the war, the Kangress party dismissed the whole efforts of our soldiers, and directly called it "BJP's war".

Thread: "Hinduized" Jesus

After successfully exploiting millions of helpless Hindus by harvesting them (i.e religious conversion in return for freebies like rice-bags), the missionaries are now setting their sights on the relatively well-off middle-class Hindus!

Contd...
As it's a well known fact that Hindus worship several Gods, these missionaries are desperately trying to convince Hindus that it would be a good idea to include a small photo of Jesus as well, usually in "Hinduized" form/avatar, and worship him along with other Hindu Gods.
That's usually the first step, and soon after the "Hinduized" (Hindu avatar) Jesus finds a place into a middle-class Hindu home, the missionaries, who would be in constant touch with those Hindus, will then step up to the next stage.

THEAD: Bollywood Whitewash

Javed Akhtar & Salim wrote scripts of 24 films from 1970 to 1982. Most of these films were crime-based stories on the underworld.

During this period, there were five dreaded criminals in Bombay - Haji Mastan, Yousuf, Karim Lala & Dawood etc.

Contd..
Police records show that 80 percent of the criminals in Mumbai were Muslims.

But you will be surprised to know that during the same time in Bombay, Javed Akhtar and Salim Javed wrote the story scripts of the 24 films, the villain of their scripts were never Muslim.
This shows Javed Akhtar's unmistakable bias to influence the thinking of the masses through the powerful medium of popular films.

The story related to the film Deewar written by Javed Akhtar is familiar.

Most of us have been complaining about the "Secularization" of Bollywood, as there has always been a tendency to glorify "peaceful religion" and look down upon Hinduism. That's cz Bollywood has been controlled by a "peaceful" based in Saudi, who have their own agenda.

Contd..
For example, when we consider music, it cannot be denied that there are tons of Qawwallis & Sufi based songs, but hardly any Hindu bhajans or chants.
This phenomenon was noticed by a young fruit juice seller, who was a deeply religious and proud Hindu, and wanted to fix this gap in Bollywood. He was Gulshan Kumar.
