What is highly likely an AIS-spoofing incident has been ongoing in the Gulf of Gdansk since yesterday evening.

5 contacts, claiming to be Russian warships, have been "operating" in Polish territorial waters. "Closing" to within a few miles of Gdansk.

I think these are ghosts.
Most have entered the Marinetraffic system through the same receiver:
The big question here is why. This is a provocation, and it is dangerous to do so in these Zapad-days.

The Sovremenny-class DDG Admiral Ushakov (1.) has likely returned to port.

One Ropucha-class LST (2.) is missing from it's pier. Image
