♦♦MEDICAL DEADLINE! NEEDS PLACEMENT BY EOD TOMORROW, MONDAY 09/13/2021 - Level 2 Sweet Petite Meme has a URI and is finding the shelter a bit overwhelming!♦♦
NEW YORK AC
"Meme is an approximately 8 yr old FI DSH with a progressive upper respiratory infection for 7 days. She
is anorexic and her upper respiratory symptoms are not improving with an antibiotic, pain medication, subcutaneous fluids and an appetite stimulant. Despite her infection, she has become more friendly and leans into pets and is eager to explore the room outside her cage. Her
symptoms are likely due to a viral infection but we only have a limited supply of oral anti-viral medication, Famciclovir, to help her. We need placement as soon as possible to reduce her stress and continue the subcutaneous fluids and Famciclovir."

🌸Coco was turned on 1/15. The owner asked to have her euthanized, stating that Coco was "dying".💔 She stated that the dog had bad derm and was chewing on herself. When asked if dog had
been to a vet, she stated yes and that the vet said she had "flea derm" and that was why she was dying. Sadly, it’s clear that poor Coco wasn’t well cared for at home as she is severely malnourished, high HW+ and was covered in fleas. This sweet girl will need a vet visit, lot of
