Learning iOS and having zero previous context to work from has meant I'm getting used to just asking "stupid" questions.
Hard to tell if a problem is actually hard or bc I just don't know anything haha.
But it's fun in a way because I'm challenging myself to learn quicker :)
There's something addictive about this all:
- the product is something I'm so excited about
- I love the challenge of becoming a beginner again
- The fact I'm growing - counting the small wins as they come (even if it's learning through mistakes) - spurs me on to keep going!
also I've set a stupidly ambitious target that I probably won't share on twitter yet - hopefully in the future if it comes to fruition.
even if it doesn't, it's one of those goals where the journey itself is what excites you (not the end result) because of all that g r o w t h!
Just to round off this thread: v fortunate to have an excellent manager and great team members to learn from - cannot understate how important this is.
Ramp-up has been made much easier bc they've been generous with their time and answered my qs :)

Now's as good time as any to get to work on that website redesign I've been putting off for so long...
Been trying to put some of the design ideas I've read up on into practice and boy does it make the @figmadesign website mockup look that much more polished :)
Now going to start coding this up using the amazing @GatsbyJS. Sneak peek at a part of the homepage in light and dark mode designed with @figmadesign :) (Yes, dark mode is coming!)
