If you are a Christian Trump supporter, I want to ask you a question (and I PROMISE this won't be snarky or mean 🙏).

In Christianity, isn't Jesus the one TRUE messiah? Didn't the Bible WARN us against false prophets?

Well, have you heard about the Moonies & what THEY claim?

The Moonies are a Korean cult. I was a leader for 2+ years, left the cult in 1976 and have been speaking out against them & other destructive cults ever since.

Its leader Sun Myung Moon (now deceased) claimed HE was the Messiah.

Moon said:
"Out of all the Saints sent by God, I think I am the most successful one already as it now stands." (MASTER SPEAKS 5/17/73)

Moon also claimed Jesus didn't really "get the job done" which thus required a NEW Messiah (Moon) to come along and fix things. Another quote:

"Then in one sense, Father, Heavenly Father will say Reverend Moon is far better than me, the Heavenly Father....Also, he is proud of himself and appreciates that Jesus Christ’s unfinished job of 6000 years has been completed by him in his lifetime. (MASTER SPEAKS 7/31/74)

Here's a Moon quote from a speech made in Washington DC (attended by Democrats & Republicans).

"They have declared to all Heaven and Earth that Reverend Sun Myung Moon is none other than humanity's Savior, Messiah, Returning Lord and True Parent." au.org/church-state/m…

Quick note: Moon went to JAIL for conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government of tax revenues. He was accused of sexual assault & there have been HUNDREDS of lawsuits against his org (which btw was the subject of one the largest consumer fraud investigations in Japanese HISTORY).

But back to Moon declaring himself the messiah...

To me (and PLEASE tell me if I'm mistaken my Christian friends! 🙏), this seems to contradict core tenets of Christianity.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5).

and...

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:15 (both from the King James Version...).

The FIRST commandment of the 10 Commandments:

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

Moon died in 2012 and his wife, Hak Ja Han took over the cult. In a similar grandiose fashion, she refers to herself as the "only begotten daughter of God."

(This speech was from a few days ago btw....).

She goes on to talk about the mythology of the cult, and that her deceased husband was the "returning messiah."

And you're probably not aware of this my friends but Donald Trump actually spoke at their cult event a few days ago on 9/11. Here's what he had to say about these people who claim to be messiahs...

So to my Trump-supporting Christian friends, I leave you with this question:

Is this consistent with your beliefs? Can there be any OTHER messiah BESIDES Jesus?
