In a post on his website on Monday, Jeff Bridges announced that his cancer is now in remission. That actor had previously revealed to the public that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma and had been in treatment.
Bridges said his '9" x 12" mass had shrunk down to the size of a marble,' but he also had had a battle with COVID-19 that 'kicked [his] ass pretty good.'
Bridges continued that he is now double-vaccinated, adding, 'I heard that the vaccine can help folks with Long Haulers. Maybe that's the cause of my quick improvement.'
The Dude credited the support of his therapist and medical team for helping him accomplish his goal of being able to walk his daughter down the aisle for her wedding and being able to 'do the father/bride dance with her without oxygen.'

According to a statement acquired by ABC News, the U.S. Travel Association says it supports the notion that people should get vaccinated before flying.
But the org maintains 'that there should be no mandatory vaccination requirement for domestic travel,' adding that 'such a policy would have an unfair, negative impact on families with young children who are not yet eligible to get the vaccine.'
Scientists have announced $15 million in funding for a project to combine woolly mammoth DNA with that of Asian elephants to create calves that can walk the Arctic tundra.
The funding was raised by new genetics and bioscience company Collasal, co-founded by Harvard Medical School professor of genetics George Church and tech entrepreneur Ben Lamm.
The project will start with either an elephant egg or skin cells from an Asian elephant, which can be converted into stem cells. The cells would then be modified to carry mammoth DNA for hair, fat layers, and cold-climate adaptations.
