PA Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee meeting now (LIVE HERE: bit.ly/3lp74WB) to read the list of subpoenas for your personal data (e.g. parts of social security numbers) so they can move forward w/ a sham audit of the 2020 election. Yes, this is real life.

They're continuing to waste taxpayer dollars on a dog & pony show they're calling some kind of "audit," but don't forget the end goal: they want to make it harder for some of us to vote.

The chair of this committee, Senator Dush, has been spreading #TheBigLie for months. The same people who spread lies about the last election should not be trusted with oversight or reform to our elections.

.@SenTonyWilliams remarking on the motion to issue broad, sweeping subpoenas of personal & voting info: "The public should be forewarned of the overreaching, overarching nature of these subpoenas" including social security numbers, which will be "afforded to a private vender..."

Senator Dush gavels @SenTonyWilliams down, saying he is making false accusations against the chair and members of the committee. Interesting that Sen Williams never mentioned Sen Dush -- he made the assumption that he was referring to him 🤔

Remember, this information will be going to a yet-to-be-named private vender.

.@SenSantarsiero asking Sen Dush about what he wants to do with this personal information. Makes clear that there are allegations about 2020 election that have been proven to be w/o merit. Sen Dush struggling to explain what's going on.

Sen Dush continues to tell @SenSantarsiero "asked and answered," but that doesn't mean anything has been answered. Sen Santarsiero saying his staff and @PASenateGOP lawyers are looking at outside venders to handle this personal info w/ no input from Dems.

Sen Dush says the Senate (YOU THE TAXPAYERS) will be paying for an unknown private vender handle the personal information of 7 million PA voters -- and this vender will be chosen only by Sen Dush, his staff, and GOP lawyers.

Sen Dush wants to deflect @SenSantarsiero questions about the private vender selection process -- says we need to get back to the subpoenas.

.@SenSantarsiero previously was asking questions about the potential venders -- are they located in PA? are they located in the U.S.? Should have asked if they have black belts, maybe? #CyberNinjas 🥷

Now asking if any venders have relationship with Sidney Powell and Sen Dush is ANGRY NOW. 🤔

Dush then admits "it's possible"

Then asked @SenSantarsiero if he "has a point"

Wow.

.@SenSantarsiero with a long list of questions about this process and implies Sen Dush is not prepared to be transparent about the subpoena process.

.@JakeCorman now commenting on motives of the @PASenateGOP w/ subpoenas -- now talking about Russian collusion (???) If there were ever any question about one reason they're doing a sham audit (PLACATE TRUMP), we have our answer.

"action items" = make it harder to vote for people the @PAGOP does NOT want to vote

Yes, it is. The reason you're getting all these calls about problems in the election is your party keeps lying about problems in the election.

But @JakeCorman knows what he's doing with all this Russian collusion BS -- it's a clear "MR. TRUMP! MR. TRUMP! OVER HERE! XOXO"

Sen Dush CUTS THE HEARING OFF and CUTS THE LIVEFEED when @SenatorHughes (correctly) says he is concerned this info will be made available to GOP members who were involved in the 1/6 insurrection.

Hearing is gaveled back in, and @SenatorHughes makes his point again. and AGAIN Sen Dush gavels the hearing out. Sen Hughes continues to speak while Sen Dush, off mic, is saying he's disparaging Senate members.

Sen Dush gavels hearing back in AGAIN, and @SenatorHughes continues to talk about his concerns about the personal nature of the subpoenas. Says majority needs to create a "legislative purpose" for their fishing expedition.

Dems on the committee are moving to table the vote on the subpoenas. Vote fails.

.@Senatorcosta calling this effort what it is: a scam review looking to overturn the will of the people and lower confidence in our elections system.

.@SenatorJWard -- huge proponent of #TheBigLie who helped move a secret "audit" of Fulton County voting machines behind the scenes -- says her constituents have lots of questions about election integrity? Hmmm... wonder why?

Now Sen Dush bulldozes continued questions from Dems to call the role to vote on subpoenas. Passes on a party-line vote. The attack on our democracy continues and you all need to keep paying attention. 👀
