I'm lucky to have grown up in an era of movies where there was so much originality and verve in big studio projects. I feel like younger folks are getting the short end of the stick with attempts at microwaving the movies we had.
Also: think about how many great screenwriters are out there that haven't been given a chance because studios don't want to take a risk and play it embarrassingly safe by retreading classics. I'm hoping those with power in Hollywood wake up and love movies again.
