Sen. Franklin Drilon asks PCOO Usec. Kristian Ablan to submit to the committee the address, educational attainment, daily time record and job description of PCOO's 1,479 contract of service employees. #SenatePH 1/3

Drilon also asked PCOO officials to explain their proposed budget for the agency’s communications projects as well as the purpose of a Visayas media hub. #SenatePH 2/3

Sen. Imee Marcos seeks to be updated on the plan to privatize IBC-13, which the Governance Commission on Government-Owned and Controlled Corporation through a public bidding, was supposed to present a floor price of P10 billion. #SenatePH 1/3 @SenImeeMarcos

Marcos recalled that IBC-13 was the number 1 channel in the 70s and its privatization was approved by then President Benigno Aquino in January 2016. She hopes this would be carried out given that every budget hearing, she would always hear about the privatization of IBC-13. 2/3

Hexilon Alvarez, chairman of IBC 13, said despite the opinion of the Development Bank of the Philippines, which was hired to be its advisor, to set aside the privatization plan, they are now taking steps to push through with it. #SenatePH 3/3

Sen. Nancy Binay asks PCOO officials to submit its 2020 communications projects and the corresponding budgets, particularly on its Covid-19 advocacy campaign. #SenatePH 1/2 @SenatorBinay

PCOO Sec. Martin Andanar, in his presentation, said next year’s budget of the PCOO amounts to P1.91 billion, an increase of almost P300 million from this year’s P1.62 billion budget of the agency. #SenatePH 2/3
