Sen. Bong Go asks COA chairperson Michael Aguinaldo whether the COA report stated that there was any anomaly or corruption on the part of the DOH and the PS-DBM on their transactions of medical supplies such as face masks, face shield and PPE. #SenatePH 1/2 @SAPBongGo

Aguinaldo said corruption was not stated in the COA report; instead it stated that there was “no findings of any money lost or corruption and noted PD-DBM's inventory management.” Go urged COA to clear the issue of DOH as soon as possible. #SenatePH 2/2 @SAPBongGo

Sen. Franklin Drilon moves to subpoena the accounting and auditing records as well as other documents pertinent to its financial transactions. He learned that the documents were subpoenaed but the committee has yet to receive the papers. #SenatePH 1/3

The Minority Leader made the motion after an accounting firm outsourced by Pharmally Pharmaceuticals Corp. testified that the documents they got were either in summary or incomplete. #SenatePH 2/3

The accountant cited the P33 million donation made by Pharmally of which details were incomplete and did not state whether the firm paid for a donor’s tax. #SenatePH 3/3

Sen. Risa Hontiveros quizzes Krizle Mago, incorporator of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp., on the identity of the person who ordered the irregular delivery of millions of surgical masks related to the controversial transactions between Pharmally and the government. 1/4

Hontiveros noted that Pharmally made the unsolicited delivery of 2 million units of surgical masks to the government even before the company received a Request for Quotation or a Notice of Award from the PS-DBM. #SenatePH 2/4 @risahontiveros

Mago later said that a certain “boss” approved the delivery, although Pharmally executives Linconn Ong and Mohit Dargani both denied making any such action. #SenatePH 3/4

Sen. Kiko Pangilinan seeks clarification from officials of the DOH and PS-DBM as to why they accepted RT-PCR kits from Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp which had 6-month expiry dates when the DOH required expiry date was from 24 to 36 months. #SenatePH 1/2 @kikopangilinan

DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III said the requirement of 24 to 36 months expiry date was before the pandemic. He said there was a high requirement for the kits last year and they would be used before the expiry date. #SenatePH 2/2
