What You Need For the $5000 Challenge

1. A business. The challenge is not a miracle, it will need your effort.

But after our poll which is ongoing (see results below) - 1k+ voted - 69% don’t own a business & only 25% make >₦50k. It is fine, here is what to do about it...
...the fastest way to start a business without capital is to go to an existing business & ask them to allow you sell their product for a commission

You can do this for houses, lands, cars, Dubai travel packages, etc

Say you pick a travel ₦1M package, and sell for ₦1.5M...
...then ₦500,000 is yours from the deal.

So reach out to anyone you know who has a business or any business near you & strike a deal!

Don’t feel overwhelmed, these businesses need extra sales. They will say yes.

If you already have a business, congratulations! Now...
...here is what to do when you now have a business.

Starting from Sunday we will be using the ODC strategy to grow your business

O - Offer
D - Distribution
C - Close

So we will work on developing an offer from your business, then increase supply chain and close sales
In the next 30 days you need to promise yourself that this will be the 30 days you will go the hardest at your goals.

So get ready...

One thing that will make you hit your $5,000 faster is to increase DISTRIBUTION of your product

In fact, if you have been struggling to get results...

And there are 2 ways to increase distribution

1. Climb the supply chain

C. Wholesaler
D. Retailer
E. Consumer

New Task for the #5kDollarsChallenge
If you have a product or service that you want to sell...do this sweet maths

$5,000/Price of the Product in dollars.

Say price is ₦25,000 then it is $43

$5k/44 = 117

Which means you need to sell 117 of ₦25k product to hit target
Now, I want you to take the price of your own product & do the same maths using ₦570 as exchange rate. Then share with me how many units you need to sell to meet target in the comment

To convert to dollars do (Price of your Product/₦570)

Let me know how many units below
If you don’t have a product yet, just do the maths with an imaginary number then look for businesses with products in that price range to sell and take commissions from

If you are outside Nigeria or outside the US, please use the exchange rate in your country for the maths

This is not the first time I am spearheading a challenge like this.

I want to share with you a little exercise that will give you the clarity you need to steer your life

First saw this exercise in a book called “Will it Fly”

It is used to map out your 5 year plan & to know exactly what to do to achieve it
So here is how it goes. Make a quadrant on a paper and label them like this.
Next thing is to number each quadrant, I did 10 but just do 5. On each, you will describe your ideal life in the next 5 years in graphic details as if they exist. Do not be modest, just describe how you want your life to look

All you need is...

I saw this somewhere..

Years ago, anthropologist Margaret Mead was asked by a student what she considered to be the first sign of civilization in a culture. The student expected Mead to talk about fishhooks or clay pots or grinding stones.
But no. Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a femur (thighbone) that had been broken and then healed. Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, you die.
