I've made my work cart into a luxury ride. Cushion and everything. 
Tomorrow morning I'm taking the girls and the work cart out to Kansas City's Longview Horse Park to participate in an event billed as a "fun drive," hosted by the Kansas City Carriage and Driving Association.
It would be nice - more attractive looking - to take the road cart, which is kind of an Amish SUV. But Clara may be pretty nervous at first, and four wheel carts are easier to break or wreck.
When something scares Clara she dances sideways away from it. I took them on a drive here on the farm today, and I've got Sydney's four horse trailer hitched up to my big red pickup out behind the barn. I've been feeding the girls in the trailer to get them used to it,
But coming up on it hitched and driving scared Clara. It's a big dark object. Big dark stationary objects scare her. So I walked her (them) around it both ways, starting, stopping, sniffing, eating goodies, until they settled down. Then we drove around it from this-a-way, and
from that-a-way, until it quit threatening to eat them. It took a few trips.
There will surely be a bunch of trucks and horse trailers at the event, which Clara needs. Once they're used to all that stuff I'll be able to take the road cart.

Plus I suspect the old geezer with the donkeys and the third world style work cart will probably be an eye opener for a bunch of Carriage Club folks. As G could tell you, I derive a certain pleasure from being weird.
