पाराशर होरा |२२|
कर्माधिपो बलोंनश्चेत कर्मवैकल्यमादिशेत
यदि दशमेश बलहीन हो तो जातक कर्म रहित होता है या वैकल्यम् (Defect, deficiency, imperfection) वाला होता है |
 weak tenth house lord (debilitated, shadbala heena, bad avastha) means that the person

suffers from defects in work. He may suffer from lack of work or no work.
Tenth house is âkash and its weakness and defects causes troubles in karma.
The next Sloka is very strange which has no direct relation with this Sloka. Ît seems that some Sloka is missing but in the

original manuscript of Shri Kashinath Jha, it was as it is. (श्रीमान सीताराम झा )
सैहिःकेन्द्रत्रिकोनोस्थो ज्योतिष्टोमादियागक्रित
राहु केंद्र या त्रिकोण में हो तो ज्योतिष्टोम (A particular sacrifice at which sixteen officiating priests are required. It is a sacrifice considered

as the typical form of a whole class of sacrificial ceremonies) यज्ञ करने वाला होता है
Rahu in tenth or Kendra from what, this is not understandable. Îf he was referring to tenth house then rahu in lagna, second, fourth, sixth and seventh will cause this. ît seems that this is

devoid of tenth house condition.
Rahu in Kendra trikona causes this effect. ( Needs counter verification)

कर्मेशे नाशराशिस्थे राहुणा संयुक्ते तथा
जनद्वेषी महामुर्खो दुश्क्रितिम लभते नरः ६,७
The rest of Sloka is not mentioned over here.
Îf tenth house has malefic Gruhas then

the person performs bad deeds and is against his own relatives. Îf the tenth lord is with Rahu and is placed in eighth house then the person performs bad deeds and is dumb headed.
 person having Tenth lord with Saturn and Mars in seventh house and seventh lord in affliction

will perform bad deeds to earn his bread and butter.
The last few stanzas are true in many cases. Âny association of the tenth house lord with eighth house or eighth house lord, Rahu and Saturn Mars also causes the same effect. Such a person is a swindler.
