I am at the Roger Marshall town hall meeting in Olathe this morning. Standing room only, 175 or so white people in attendance. First questioner has opened with a prayer and now on crazy train about George Soros. RM throwing gasoline on the fire.

Next Q talking about fluoride in the water supply. "People are being drugged without their consent."

I'm not going to be able to type as fast as the questions are being shouted out, but the overall vibe here is that of a Trump rally. Very few masks being worn, LOTS of concern about BIG Pharma, Pfizer not being able to be sued. CRT.

Lots of "Wake up."

Highly charged meeting, lots of group think occuring. Not a lot of deep thought, reflection, or openness to new ideas.

City representative has just taken microphone telling crowd to be respectful.

Next Q about raising debt ceiling
RM says "Hell no." Crowd goes crazy. He does not talk about ramifications of government defaulting on debt.

"FOX News just had their drones taken away!!!" Crowd erupts in disapproval. RM says he is communicating with Sean Hannity about this. Lots of applause.

Q: "What most people want is a strong law enforcement to protect them." Lots of applause again.

Marshall is quite skilled at taking a crazy comment from crowd and then ramping it up several more levels of absurdity.

Q: "Nothing matters if we can't have accurate elections." Something about the side of the "righteous" side.

Q: "Why are we bothering with masks when we have lost our boarders?"

RM: "Biden has lied to us."

Q: "Would you support a full forensic audit here in Kansas?"

RM: side steps issue

Q: "Our energy polices are a disaster. What are we doing with regard to coal so price hikes don't happen again."

RM: talking about 14 page Green New Deal.

Q: bringing up 3.5 Trillion infrastructure package and "democratic wishlist". What can be done to cut back waist?

RM: "It's really 7 trillion!!! Do we really want government socialism???"

Q: nurse now speaking, claims to take care of ICU covid patients (super nervous)... bringing up zink and vitamin C...no one wants to no what really treated covid... (lots of FB misinformation being repeated)... talking about vitamin D3..she will quit if required to get vaccine.

Q: nurse still speaking, wants to know what RM is going to do to fight vaccine mandate?

RM: "CDC has lost its reputation."

Next Q: "We ant action or we are going to be taking action. Maybe you can't do what needs to be done! We are hot, we are mad!!n (crowd on feet cheering).

Police have moved to front of room, don't know why, this is a crowd on 100% agreement with what he is saying.

Last Q: talking about bioweapons (she says she has all the documents to prove point.) CIA...Koch postulates...vaccine changes your DNA...gives RM a book

And that's it. He has walked out back door. I don't know how to process all this.

Lady just walked up, "Did you find the meeting interesting?" 🤔😬
