The City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire and Mitchell Shire will go into 7-day lockdown town at 11:59pm tonight. There are 20 cases in Geelong, 22 in Mitchell Shire and three on the Surf Coast.

Road trip Sunday:
It’s here and it’s based on three key milestones and projected dates when we should hit those milestones.
80% first jab - September 26
70% double jab - October 26
80% double jab - November 5

At 80% first jabs we get things like golf,tennis and outdoor PT for five fully vaccinated people back. The travel bubble also moves from 10km to 15km.

At 70% double jab the curfew goes and the reasons to leave home. Pubs and clubs open for the fully vaxxed and you can get your hair did - if you’re double jabbed.

At 80% double jab retail opens, there’s bigger wedding and funeral limits for the fully vaxxed and hospitality caps increase for those who got their deltoids out for delta. There’s way more- you can look here:

You can also shop outside your 5km bubble and your single bubble buddy can be from anywhere in Greater Sydney.
