White socialists can share the same racist views as the elite. Brexit made that plain. Lexiteers are happy to collude with xenophobia under cover of improving the plight of working class. The degree of class collaboration with the ruling elite is staggering. #socialistssunday
Some white socialist are blinded by white privilege, others adhere to a Stalinist ideological analysis that subjugates racism as a simply a by product of capitalism. Others see any black self organisation as a reactionary bourgeois threat to working class unity.
This economic reductionism trend has consistently marginalised black socialists. Black trade unionist are routinely failed by their Union representatives when it comes to challenging race which is why 98% of Race Employment Tribunals fail.
Black trade unions constantly report being failed by their Unions when it comes to challenging racism in the work place. Time and time again black workers are told their complaints stand no chance of success and denied Union representation.
These cases then go onto to picked up by struggling black community organisations and in many cases go onto win despite TU failures. Sometimes TU officials are in collusion with Labour employers in attempting to stop/bury race cases from embarrassing Labour local authorities.
All in the Labour party together some TU officials often make deals that sacrifice Black workers complaints in exchange for personal favours or political patronage. Its a powerful disincentive. When a racist offender is a white Trade Union or official blacks suffer whitelash.
The culture racism of some of the white left within both the @TU movement and @UKLabour conspires to block/frustrate racism complaints of black members against white 'comrades'. Far too many white Union activists understanding of racism is deeply flawed, and reactionary.
As a result they don't recognise tackling racism as a priory. The TUC has failed to ensure that they train officials in understanding the political analysis and realities of racism. as a result many are too intimidated by race or are simply antagonistic to the concept.
Black socialist continue to suffer the insufferable arrogance and patronising condescension of the these socialists in their attempt to lecture us on what constitutes racism, and who is and is not a racist. Its this reactionary socialist workerist trends that combines to oppress.
And this is why we have so few Black TU Gen Secs and why Black members are leaving TU's and also explains why so called socialists like @Rachael_Swindon and her supporters feel its entirely legitimate to target, racially abuse black women in the name of socialism and anti racism.

The problem for some sections of the left is their unrecognised paternalistic white privilege, class reductionism and anti fascist fetishisation at the expense of confronting systemic racism, is it condescendingly assumes that when it comes to fighting racism, they know best.
Anti fascism is the easiest form of anti racism to deal with given its binary nature. Tacking systemic racism is much more complex and demands you look at institutions, individuals and yourself in a critical light. This is sometimes reflexively seen as weakening the working class
It’s so much easier to chase bone head fascists than confront racist policing. Some on the left refuse to acknowledge their global position as a Labour aristocracy. They believe that they are the vanguard of working class struggle. All this amounts to an insufferable arrogance.
