7. Read your MSPE, you could get questions on it during interview season! 8. If you add a language, make sure you can speak it 😉 9. There should be zero typos in your PS, make it 1 page, and avoid contractions. 10. Identify 5 priorities when applying
E.g. size, geography, wellness, fellowship match rates, etc. 11. Transitional years tend to be more competitive than prelim years 12. Dual applying? Create 2 different PS and make your individual apps unique! 13. Couple? Email the program if your partner gets an interview
14. Inform your team you will be stepping out to answer interview emails. 15. Give 2 weeks notice if you cancel. 16. Follow-up with PDs and coordinators, explain interest, include AAMC ID. 17. Avoid swivel chairs, web cam at eye level, fidget below your waist, look at cam
