Fascism, Land Reform and Landowners Image
If one is used to the usual debate of "Fascism is Capitalism in Decay", it is often common to hear that Italian Fascism allied itself with Landowners and it truly never engaged in any sort of land reform. Oh, poor Fascists without sources, we truly are...
the thugs of Capitalism, what is to be done now? The response is simple: Laugh. It's such a lame hill to die on, I'll just go straight to the point in this thread.

In the same way Fascism had the support of landowners, so did it hold the support of a large amount of peasants. ImageImage
Despite the Modernization that Mussolini wanted to engage in, and the big amount of Fascists praising and wanting the idolatry of the Machine, of Cities, of the Future. Fascists had quite a popularity among peasants, especially due to the fact that many of them were war veterans.
Even though Fascists gave help to landowners against Socialists, this wasnt because they just wanted to defend property. In fact, many Fascists endorsed and carried similar strikes and insurrections across Italy, main difference is they held the Italian Flag... ImageImage
not that of the International Socialists. The Red Flag was a betrayal, a lack of loyalty against Italy, their movement did not represent the Italian Working Class, but the interest of an Internationalist Movement that was seen as a threat against the existence of Italy. ImageImageImage
Funnily enough, it was the Socialists whom had betrayed the Ideal of Socialism, and for Mussolini, figures such as Lenin did not represent true socialism. He believed that reality of the matter is that many "Real Socialists" had been growing tired of marxist dogmatic socialism. Image
It is in this way that Fascism, although it fights against Socialist Movements, it also sought to establish it's own Revolution. Despite the fact they helped Landowners, they also made it so they had to give land to peasants in exchange for help. ImageImage
It's truly ironic to actually look at the members that constituted the youthful Fascist movement that would obtain power in Italy. Since it is due to Peasant support that Fascism would easily get power in Italy. Image
We could also go into the supposed non-existence of Land Reform, given the fact that studies have shown that the number of landless laborers would go down from 2 Million in the 1920s to 700,000 in 1940. Not to mention the country had an ongoing reform in the 1940s as well. Image
Agrarian Production would increase through the battle of grain as well. And the regime would embark itself in improving the living standards of the rural population. Much of this was due to the fact that Mussolini valued the rural side of Italy... ImageImageImage
and wanted to develop it to the point wage labor disappeared and was replaced by land ownership. Peasants would be helped to own land, and in that way, from 1921 to 1938 farm workers without land would go from 44% to 28%. It was after all, the rural aspect of Italy...
which helped the Nation not fall under despair during the Great Depression. Image
We can only laugh when people pretend that Fascists were just there to defend le Capitalism and Landowners, when reality of the matter is that they wouldn't have had an issue with the occupations of lands or strikes, if they werent made under the banner of Socialism. Image
Their actions clearly prove, that all they want is to deny Fascism of a gradual development of its own, as they justify their own developmental policies. It's as simple as that, just double standards they are willing to apply to us, but not to themselves.

The End. Image

This may be the first thread I do that is sorta out of line with the usual theme of my account.

Aziz Serguéyevich Shavershian otherwise known as "Zyzz"
It may not seem like it, but this is sorta related to what I touched on previously:

Life may seem futile for some nowadays, the mental and physical state of many is in shatters. What's to be done now? The lack of a serious movement to follow, and the situation of politics truly showcase a future which doesn't seem too promising.

Time for a thread after a good hiatus.

The Youthful Death of Fascism Image
It is often considered that since Fascism lost the war, it must therefore be an invalid ideology that failed its premises. After all, engaging in the major conflict on the history of humanity and having a massive coalition against you, showcases how insignificant it was.
Reality of the matter is that, the collapse of Fascism, makes it a worthy ideal. Its existence, although short, displayed the inner beauty of the ideology and enabled it to put in full displaym the possibilities that its praxis had to offer. We must realize... Image

Time for a thread on some thoughts regarding the Best Friends of Fascism

Larpers and Edgelords
As time goes by, one of the main issues among the lines of "Modern Fascism", has been the one of people that instead of understanding that the rehabilitation of Fascism will come from showing yourself as an example of...
success and actual improvement of you as a person, that is, somebody that disproves the main narrative that Fascism is brainless violence, mere racism, and needless edgy takes. But overall, time has shown that these people are the faces of Fascism for the media...

Thread based on the result of the poll.

Nicola Bombacci Image
What is to be said about Bombacci that hasn't been explained before?

Initially a Communist, Nicola Bombacci would be one of the founders of the Italian Communist Party. He would also be a friend of Vladimir Lenin, a close one in fact, to the point Nicola would name his son... Image
after the Soviet Statesman. Nicola would be picked on by Blackshirts and many of the chants that the Fascist movement would march under the streets with, would involve mocking him, and talking about brushing Mussolini's bald head with Bombacci's beard. Image

Fascist Italy – Thread 2/3

The Corporate State (1933-1943)

"The Corporation, it says, is created with a view to increasing the wealth, political power, and well-being of the Italian people. These three objectives are conditional, each on the other."
I'll link the previous which goes over the period of 1922-1932:

In order to avoid explaining stuff I’ve touched on before, I’ll also link a compilation of previous threads that go over the conception Fascism had of politics and its goals:

No, this isn't a Fedpost Thread.

Fascist Violence Image
It's often common to believe that one of the main beliefs of Fascism is that of Violence. That is, the Philosophy endorses the usage of violence as a core tenent of the Doctrine. This talking point is very popular among conservative boomers and left wingers. ImageImageImageImage
In order to avoid stretching myself on stuff I've explained before, I'll attach this old thread regarding the "Anti-Intellectualism" and Cult to Action of Fascism:
