As time goes by, one of the main issues among the lines of "Modern Fascism", has been the one of people that instead of understanding that the rehabilitation of Fascism will come from showing yourself as an example of...
success and actual improvement of you as a person, that is, somebody that disproves the main narrative that Fascism is brainless violence, mere racism, and needless edgy takes. But overall, time has shown that these people are the faces of Fascism for the media...
after all, they are basically doing the media's job of portraying Fascism as what their preconceived notions are. Just brainless traditionalists looking for violence and genocide. This can all be traced down to a subversion from edgelords and larpers.
They have adopted the banner of Fascism, claim to understand its nature, goals and development, as they completely show the fact that not only do they not care for the doctrine they supposedly like, but they have an agenda of their own behind them.
We can see this with WigNats, TradCaths, Radical Traditionalists, or simple Right Wingers that believe that Fascism could achieve their libertarian goals after years of dictatorship. These people vary a lot, but they all stem from ignorance, purposeful carelessness...
or mere subversion from very interesting groups that glow in the dark.
The task of every reasonable Fascist should be to outline the difference between our groups, and call out the people that are pretending to be something they aren't.

Their main idea is that they get to interpret it the way they deem as correct since it fits their reactionary agenda, and they get to own le brown people, gays, jews, etc. The most hilarious part is that they think that old proto-Fascists/Fascists would support them back.
We can see people pretending that Race is the main core of Fascism, whereas if we look back, it was the main philosophers and figures that developed Fascism, whom opposed the Racial Laws of 1938. Fascism can involve Race, but not always, thus their claims are bogus.
Then we get to the laughable claim that Fascism has to be forcefully traditionalist or some shit, which can be disregarded by the mere presence of Futurism within the lines of the movement, or the variation that each branch had regarding Traditions. It all depends on the place.
The full meme of Fascist Violence can also be laughed at, as well with the believe that we are mere Action, whereas every single person within Fascism pushed for "Thought and Action". Being wimpy is useless in the same way being a strong brute is. But a Buff Nerd can do wonders.
Another thing can be their laughable attempt at appropiating Fascism for the right and making it seem Pro-Capitalism, when none of the Fascist Movements we've seen throughout the planet ever cathegorized themselves as such, and they all came from an Anti-Capitalist Standpoint.
Again, possibilities within Fascism vary, and a lot, but a reality of current "Fascism" is that many adopt it for the excuse of being needlessly edgy and reactionary. Even going so far as to believe that just because they are authoritarian they get to call themselves Fascists.
These people do not stand for Fascism nor do they care, they have double intentions that they display by the fact that if we were to be in other situation, they'd support the status quo insofar as it falls under their agenda. Fascism is the means to an end in their mind.

Another suggestion would be to merely check A. James Gregor or Zeev Sternhell, it wouldn't even hurt to check out what the movement you claim to represent actually wanted or did. Reality of the matter is that subversive people like that must be isolated or kicked out.
