Ada Byron Lovelace & the Thinking Machine @lauriewallmark illustrated by @AprilChu. A poet's daughter who loved math instead. Ada was one of the first computer programmers, never credited for her work because of her gender. I didn't know her name. Now I won't forget it. 12/
African American Cowboys: True Heroes of the Old West #JeffreyBFuerst. A window into history I truly did not know. Pick up a copy to learn about the men who settled the west but didn't make it into your school history text 13/
