Suddenly just struck me that this pandemic may very well put to bed two giant mistaken theories of the past 100 years, and 1000 years:

1. droplet theory: Chapin's attempt to merge miasma w germ theory

2. contagion theory: that disease spread is passed by items

Congrats us!
(Of course, we still have a raging pandemic, which is perhaps a larger problem we should focus on.)

This report will not contain a single "droplet" transmission reference, because there aren't any. Zero. Nada. None.

I don't know what to say any more so I'm just reposting old stuff.

Droplets falling to ground do not amount to anything. NOTHING. Wear an N95 and up. The end.

Imagine if this were a private company not acknowledging airborne spread and not providing N95s?

I said this in August 2020, there was plenty of knowledge enough then.

Here's a hit piece written in support of "no spread in hospitals" which is belied by outbreaks of SARS, MERS, everything else in hospitals that adhere to droplet for $$:

So they blame the nurses for bringing it in from the community.

Strangely enough, they could answer the question by sequencing the virus, but they interestingly never do that.

They know exactly what it would show.

Many commenters said "SARS-CoV-2 isn't measles".

Impression that measles was a terror and this was no big deal.

But how deadly was measles?

Well, in US, before vax, 3-4mm caught and 400 died each year.

400

COVID-19 currently 665k
cdc.gov/measles/about/… for example historical view and more info
As I like noting, measles numbers were gathered not during 18 months of some degree of restrictions.
