CR: "None of the funds appropriated in this title and made available for assistance for Afghanistan may be made available for direct assistance to the Taliban." (SEC. 2404).

House NOW debating an amendment by Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) to #FY22NDAA to "add the bipartisan SAFE Banking Act which allows state-legal cannabis businesses to access the banking system and help improve public safety by reducing the amount of cash at these businesses."
House approved the cannabis banking amendment to the defense programs and policy bill by voice vote.
House also approved an amendment by Intel Chair Schiff (D-CA) to the defense bill requiring proceedings for military commissions to be publicly available on the internet, by voice vote.
