Being a doctor herself, @DrHeena_Gavit said that she understood the importance of getting & ensuring the sample is uncontaminated. #Forensic vans implemented by #APPolice is one such initiative that specially helps to meet the victim, examine & collect the samples. (4/7)
The Committee said that their learnings in #AndhraPradesh will be checked on the feasibility pan India about the #Disha initiatives in which cases are resolved within 21 days & the #fasttrack courts. Tremendous support was shown by the committee towards Mahila Courts. (5/7)
Effective increase in visible policing in the villages/wards is seen through the implementation of #MahilaPolice. #Disha Police Stations with their awareness campaigns & #friendlypolicing instil confidence in victims in crimes against women to come forward & report them. (6/7)
