Chant ends abruptly, one man can be heard saying "I don't want peace." Megaphone lady is back trying to calm them down.
She says leaders of the group are negotiating with police and urges the crowd not to touch their weapons. Tells crowd it's time to move on. Crowd having none of it.
She tells the crowd "Don't fucken ruin it for us okay?" Crowd does not appear to be listening to her
Another guy up now, says the crowd will be allowed to leave peacefully, oddly, the crowd boos him, and starts chanting "hold your ground."
BAD OPTICS: A request from another lady on a megaphone for a minute's silence is off to a slippery start, with some in the crowd continuing to jeer. Now there's drum beating and applause. Back to chanting "Fuck Dan Andrews".
The attempted minute's silence at the War Memorial was not for fallen Diggers, but "for all the suicides." Suicides are lower now than they have been in years.

Live streamer says police have offered people a safe path out if they want it, but says crowd have said no and chosen to stay and "it's going to get to a point where something could go either way."
