For anyone that doesn't know if technical analysis is worth learning and using as part of your investment strategy...
$AFRM bounced perfectly today off the VWAP anchored to the day we got that $AMZN announcement
$PAVM bouncing off this trendline back in July at $5.00 (I started my position that day as I saw the green hammer forming) and since then it's up 86% which includes after hours trading today
$SNAP breaking out yesterday with more buying today, after bouncing off that $70 support level on Monday
$SOFI breaking out today, fueled by another analyst BUY rating and $25 price target. There are now 5 analysts covering $SOFI with an average price target of $24.90
$LOVE bouncing off this trendline a couple weeks ago then getting a strong earnings report, stock now up 45% since the bounce
$SWAV bounced off this trendline in July (that's when I got back into this stock) and I kept adding each time it bounced off that trendline. Now it's a top 10 position and up 50% since I started the position a few months ago.
$GLBE keeps finding support on this trendline, every time it does I add to my position
$PLTR kept bouncing off this trendline, I restarted my position on the second bounce and kept adding as we stayed above the support line, now the stock is 35% higher in the past few months and hanging out above the 20d SMA
I use technical analysis to guide me getting into positions whether my intention is long term hold or short term trade, I keep an eye on trendlines, moving averages and support levels then setup my orders and stop losses accordingly.
PS: I own all the stocks mentioned above
Big shoutout to @danushman@Trendspider_J and the entire @Trendspider team for creating a charting/software platform that's super easy to use and makes technical analysis accessible to everyone.
FWIW, I post all of these trades/charts in my @Stocktwits room.
