Me : Learning to drive is hard. That's not an excuse for jumping in a car, fiddling with some bits and learning by gut feel. Yes it can be hard but if mapping was easy then we'd have been teaching this stuff a century ago.

Me : Look, you've got the book, all the different patterns (climatic etc), examples, a community and people running courses. When I started 16 years ago, there wasn't even the concept of what a map was in business let alone anything resembling a map.
