Many on Wall Street radically misunderstand where Internet infrastructure is going.

Myth:
Private cloud (on-prem) is dinosaur going the way of extinction to central cloud.

Fact:
True private cloud (TPC) has exploded. Forecast growth *greater* than central cloud.

Not only is TPC exploding, but so too is the hybrid cloud, which is an infra architecture that uses both on-prem and central cloud.

Furthering this discombobulated myth that on-prem is dying is another:

Myth:
Once in central cloud, no one looks back. It's all in and no private cloud once switch is made.

Fact:
Half(!) of central cloud only infra have deployed or are in the process of deploying HCI.

Oh, but it goes further...

Myth:
The central cloud is more cost efficient and safer.

Fact:
It's on-prem or hybrid that is cheaper and safer.

Central cloud combined w many other factors has brought us the Internet as we know it; will continue to grow to several trillions.

But, hybrid on one hand and edge on the other are not only going to grow organically, but also grow through repatriation of central cloud.

Further, as this distributed infra architecture develops between central cloud (CC), hybrid, and edge, so too a new version of central cloud emerges.

Rather than end all be all, it can be simpler.

Ease of use for CC is a thematic in and of itself inside a huge trend.

Will AWS, Azure, GCP grow?

Oh boy; yes!

Will TPC, hybrid, edge, and simpler central cloud grow?

OH BOY! YES!
