1/n. The covid virus will stay inside your body forever even after you recover. Remains dormant in your body post-recovery/after infection That's how virus works. So you're prone to reinfection / retriggered under stress, prolonged exposure, weak immune system #Singapore
2/n. The current triage or contingency is to treat the patient's SYMPTOMS when they are infectious. There's no way you can delete the virus from your body. It remains dormant after infection. Until it gets triggered again.
1. Infected.
2. Quarantined/ hospitalised.

3/n.
3. Treated for symptoms. Some cases ICU.
4. Recovers from symptom. PCR tests negative. Discharged from hospital care.

Do you know what happens to these patients a few months later? There's no info provided. Unless you ask friends who went through the ordeal.

2 cases of my friends. Post recovery of a Japanese 27 years old female. Who only had 1 jab of Moderna pre-infection.
She was infected. 2 days home quarantined. Her condition worsened. Breathless. Hospitalized. 2 weeks later Discharged. Late June to early July.

In August, she couldn't function normally. Not in her baseline anymore. She felt worser than before. She had the sense to do a full scan checkup. Her nasopharynx bleeding internally. Scarring. Now she's hospitalized in a rural rehab centre with Breathing tube.
6/n
Doctors in rehab centre say she might need treatment this time for 3 to 6 months. She rehospitalized in end of August. Just last week, she came down with fever. At the same time severe weight loss and hair loss.
7/n #singapore
Another 2 cases in Malaysia. A friend's friend 31 yrs old male in KL. Not vaxxed. Severe covid. Lost 30 kg. His body in AUTOIMMUNE crisis now along with risk of organ failure. My friend's dad who was not vaxxed, went for kidney dialysis in klang, got covid. Died.

We don't bother to follow up with the data from covid patients post recovery. There's onset of SEVERE internal complications a few months later. So the only way to be safe is NOT get infected. Get vaccinated, double mask, STAY HOME. Stop mingling outside in crowds
9/n #singapore
Right now the treatment plan covers up till your PCR test turns negative. What happens when major complications occur a few months later? You'll be needing treatment for those problems later. You might need to depend on medical treatment for a lifetime.

Becoming endemic means a certain govt is only looking at recovering economy. If I maybe blunt. It's all about the money. This entire covid crisis has become political worldwide. An incompetent, weak and cowardly leader is conveniently selling you to the enemy.
11/n #singapore
The usual "we need to get on with life, move on, learn to live with the virus, revive economy" narrative is being peddled everywhere. So with more people getting infected, it's an assumption that the virus strain becomes weak. Like influenza flu strain.
12/n that's not the case. There are more mutated variants coming from this covid, found in various countries. Delta variant is definitely hands down the champ for now. But as long as the virus remains in circulation. More variants. Severity of disease. Onset of 2° complications.
13/n #Singapore
In SG the covid related deaths are increasing. The infection rate is rapid. Compare the current numbers with last year. Stronger variant, rise in infection, rise in morbidity, number of deaths going up among the old, disease severity worsening too.
14/n #singapore
unless the long term objective is to have the people recovered from covid but later develop medical complications. Therefore having to depend and be enslaved to medical treatments for the rest of their lives? Also a lucrative business.
15/n #Singapore
Who knows which variant gets imported next with what chaos it brings? What happened to all the affirmations to keep the number of cases below 5? Now we are at 1120. The numbers already explain the rate of infection. Compare the 4 different phases we have had.
16/n #singapore
Democracy today seems like we voted (last year elections) for a certain govt that promised safety for all of us. a vote of trust. Today they dictate we are to live with the virus, allow the circulation to continue And call this endemic.
17/n Who gave anyone the right to tell me I must live with the virus situation in my country which I call my home? The politicians are well taken care of. They are not outside commuting or mingling. This isn't endemic. The current surge worldwide is a pandemic. Worsening.
18/n #Singapore
Hospitals overwhelmed at the moment. How did we get to this point? I need answers. All they're game for is recite scripts in press conferences. Talk, talk & talk. Excuses made in very calm & very diplomatic manner when there's a frightening situation outside.
19/n #singapore
We still have people roaming around with their masks like overstretched underwear dangling below their noses & chins. Absolutely no safe distancing. Roaming, big groups, dining, etc. No care for anything / anyone. Pampered, spoilt rotten, entitled, selfish. Evil.
20/n #singapore
Inbound flights daily from countries with special leeway free pass who don't need to be quarantined for days. Are PCR tests results given by passengers verified thoroughly & accurately? No one bothers. Virus continues circulating & evading vaxxed immune systems.
21/n #Singapore
I look at the current plight my country is in & the current handling of the virus situation. Infuriated, ashamed & feeling betrayed. So many of us voicing out. Asking. Questioning. Money or lives? Ask. We are silenced. While the virus circulates, evades, mutates.
