RADICAL NON-VIOLENCE is essential to all successful resistance imo. Why? Because ANY & ALL violence is used to VALIDATE our abuse & subjugation, demonize valid protest & protesters, validate security force expansion & violence, expand & extend suppression of civil liberties, etc. 
To incite the people to violence is the ULTIMATE goal of the oppressor, because it is essential to validating subjugation.

Some of the starkest recent exmples are the Capitol riots which created the new "war on domestic terror", the George Floyd & vax pass riots which were/are used to demonize the entire movement & validate militarized responses.

They WANT us to be violent. In fact, they're counting on it, which is why we must resist at all cost. What makes recent police violence & abuse so undeniably obvious, is that their victims are defenseless. There is no confusion about their wrongdoing, ONLY w a nonviolent victim.
