Suburbs with new exposure locations linked to confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the ACT include:

Casual
• Belconnen

Monitor
• Casey
• Franklin
• Gungahlin
• Phillip

There are also some new public transport routes listed as casual exposure locations.
We only consider you as a close, casual or monitor for symptoms contact if you’ve been to an exposure location at the specific dates and times. If you were at the location at any other time or date, then we don’t consider you as a close, casual or monitor for symptoms contact.
We will be updating the ACT COVID-19 website with exposure locations regularly. Please continue to check for new locations or updated times.

Hey Canberra, don’t forget your second COVID-19 vaccine dose! 💉💉 Whilst partial protection against COVID-19 may be as soon as 12 days after the first dose, this protection is likely to be short lived. Learn more covid19.act.gov.au/vaccinefaqs Image
The 2nd dose encourages your body to create stronger immunity to protect you from getting very sick from COVID-19 and reduce your chance of hospitalisation, ICU admission and death.
💉 Pfizer (Comirnaty) vaccine’s second dose should be given 3-6 weeks apart after the first dose Image
💉 Spikevax (Moderna) vaccine’s 2nd dose should be given 4-6 weeks after the 1st dose
💉 In outbreak situations, the preferred 2nd dose of a Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) COVID-19 vaccine is between 4-8 weeks after the 1st dose (usually 12 weeks in non-outbreak situations) Image

Hey Canberra, if you have any symptoms, no matter how mild, make sure you get tested as soon possible.
👉 The pop-up testing clinic at Watson Neighbourhood Oval is open again today from 8am to 4pm. Image
Canberrans of all ages will be able to get tested, and we are encouraging all local residents who have any symptoms, however mild, or anyone who is concerned they may have been exposed to COVID-19, to pop in for a test.
Below are the times for all testing locations open to the public today across Canberra:
◾️ Drive Through COVID-19 Testing at Exhibition Park in Canberra: 8am to 10pm
◾️ COVID-19 Surge Centre at Garran: 7:30am to 9pm
◾️ Drive Through COVID-19 Testing at Kambah: 8am to 4pm

Below are the current wait times at the following ACT COVID-19 testing clinics:
◼️ Drive Through COVID-19 Testing at Exhibition Park in Canberra: 1 hour +
◼️ Gold Creek School Pop-up COVID-19 Testing Facility: minimal wait
◼️ Drive Through COVID-19 Testing at Kambah: 1.5 hours +
◼️ COVID-19 Surge Centre at Garran: 40+ minutes
◼️ Watson Pop-up COVID-19 Testing Facility: minimal wait
Please note, testing sites may have extended waiting times today. If you are looking to get tested, please be prepared – bring water, snacks, and anything else you might need while you wait.

Below are the current wait times at the following ACT COVID-19 testing clinics:

◼️ Gold Creek School Pop-up COVID-19 Testing Facility: minimal wait
◼️ Drive Through COVID-19 Testing at Kambah: 1.5 hours
◼️ COVID-19 Surge Centre at Garran: minimal wait
The Watson Pop-up COVID-19 Testing Facility opened from 8:00am this morning. We have seen a steady flow of people visiting for testing, but there is still capacity for more testing for local residents.
