Last year China Electronic Giant ‘CNIEC’ wooed the Nigerian Army to establish an Assembly Line for Manufacturing Defence Equipment to help Nigeria become empowered to locally manufacture high tech defence equipment.
CEIEC disclosed plans to introduce an Assembly and Production Line for local manufacturing of defence equipment and other military hardwares in Nigeria. Now, this company CEIEC produces defence products such as C4I System, Command and Control System for defence purposes, and
..radar systems for the Chinese military. So this is not some upstart seeking international customers.

The company has CEIEC currently has the contract for defence electronic for over 30 countries across the world. The Nigerian army is already a major operator of Chinese
..military hardware..most notable the VT-4 Tank, STI-Tank Destroyer and eight wheel SH105 long range self propellled artillery gun system. Establishing production line for some of these equipment will best serve the interest of Nigeria.

You know what's sad about this footage? Its that no matter what, Africa will NEVER be given the due credit and respect it deserves.
It took a coalition of 68 countries to take down ISIS in Syria and Iraq. It took the naval forces of dozens of countries to provide safe passages for merchant vessels and oil tankers in Somalia's coast. Heck A-STAN enjoyed an $85 billion military aid package and still faltered.
Nigeria on the other hand, a nation with no prior experience in COIN warfare has done/is doing what very few countries in the world can manage..that is containing the deadliest terrorist group in the world and securing the worlds most dangerous waterways simultaneoulsy...ALONE

DISCLAIMER: I am not advocating for war. The possibility of one is remote. This is an educated and factual analysis to convince sceptics how events will play out if the unthinkable happens.
In the event Nigeria has to take back Bakassi..many erroneously site the challenges Nigeria faces with counter insurgency and use it as a yard stick to measure a nations military capability. This is a very flawed line of thought.
When the Boko Haram insurgency started, the Nigerian military was flawed to tackle Boko Haram. Conceptually the focus of the Nigerian military was on conventional warfare and the enemy was an unconventional one. Contemporary weaponry and firepower that can devastate an army

The Bakassi issue is not DEADZ and forgotten.

- National Assembly.

All hope of returning Bakassi Peninsula to Nigeria may not have been lost yet, as the National Assembly has says it will withhold the ratification of its treaty.
It should be recalled that the National Assembly was aghast at President Obasanjos unilateral decision to bypass the House and hand over Bakassi. The National Assembly did not and has not ratified the treaty and lawmakers are reluctant to ratify the treaty.
Bakassi is one of the seven councils that make up Cross River South Senatorial District and so far as we have not ratified it, the matter is not closed. The current Senate has made it clear it will not ratify the treaty. Only the Exevutive can ay this point.

The message one or more JF-17 Squadron will send a potential aggressor is unambiguous. If you attack us, we will respond with overwhelming force. "MONEY" should not be an excuse for Africa's biggest economy and largest oil producer.
Visibly possessing a large and strong air force is an embodiment of effective deterrence. While our COIN assets are admirable. Having a correspondingly large and potent air superiority fighter fleet is just about the most potent deterrence possible,
..so potential enemies can habour no illusion about how a military misadventure against Nigeria's interest will turn out. In Mali Nigeria's military contigent were mocked by Malians and Niger-riène contingent. Statements like " We do not run away like Nigerians"

I am pleased to inform you that the armed attack drones and CS/VP3 Mraps are inbound. China has its flaws, but you have to agree that without China there is no way an African country will have access to top of the line weaponry like the MQ-9 Reaper. It will never happen.
The CH-4 can carry a load of 400 kg at a maximum speed is 370 kilometers per hour. They can loiter for 30 hours at an altitude of 32,500 feet, out of sight, out of sound, waiting patiently.

When US navy Seals rescued the 27 year old Philip Walton from Nigeria, an MQ-9 Reaper
loitered over the compound the American was held for days before the rescue operation, monitoring every activity and relying this information in real time 24/7.

Like wise the killing of Osama Bin laden. For a month MQ-9 Reaper drones monitored the compound he was holed up in.

We won’t allow foreigners overrun Nigeria. These are the words of Theater Commander Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa.

QUOTE

The Nigerian military will not allow the a foreign terrorist group, to have strong footing in Nigeria. ISWAP is a foreign terrorist
organisation being sponsored by foreigners with some local collaborations. The terrorists that are refusing to surrender belonged to ISWAP.

END QUOTE

He told journalists that ISWAP terrorist group was a foreign terrorist organisation being sponsored by foreigners with some

It is very clear that ISWAP are foreigners coming to invade our country which we will never allow to happen. That is why I
