@WinterOakPress (6) both are nostalgias ... attempts to prevent global capitalism from arriving at the place it already is, i.e., global hegemony ... which is why GloboCap is going totalitarian. When a system no longer has external adversaries, it turns its attention to the adversaries within.
@WinterOakPress (7) One last note: "despotic values" sounds negative, but it essentially means values imposed on society by people's will, rather than the market. That will can be socialist, fascist, religious, whatever. The question is, who/what determines society's values (i.e., reality)?
