Kaeya walks into a large bustling tavern at midnight, it’s fulled with all sorts of adventurers and civilians. Bards performing on the small stage in the center of the dining area. People clinking their drinks and

Thinking about Kaeya being so happy Diluc finally agrees to going with him somewhere hurts my heart in a good way 😭

He’d occasionally offer going to another tavern, the beach, stargaze, or go for a walk. But Diluc always turns him down saying they’re not kids anymore and how—

It’s stupid for them to do things they use to. Of course it’d sting Kaeya’s heart a but hearing that but he doesn’t stop.
One day he asks Diluc while Diluc is a good mood and he finally agrees.

Kaeya blinds in surprise hearing Diluc “ R-Really…? “

“ I already answered you, do you want to go or not? “ Diluc says as his mood begins to sour.
“ Let’s go now then! “ Kaeya stands eagerly at the door of Angel’s share waiting for Diluc to come join him.

Something warm grows in Diluc’s chest seeing Kaeya that way, it reminds him
