1/ Buckle up for this thread.
Minnesota is not serious about gun & gang crimes. #MN is purposely feeding, seeding & fostering gang culture & gun crimes.
Why?
Known gang member Jaqwan Lamar House has been given plea bargains in two gun cases, now charged in a new violent crime.
2/ Why are we giving plea bargains to known gang members, especially on gun crimes?
House, 24, of St. Paul & police say is a Ham Crazy gang member, pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm w/o a permit. One yr sentence stayed in Jan 2021. Instead sentenced to two days time served.
3/ That was despite having another open case for possessing a firearm w/o a permit. House pled guilty to that charge in Aug 2021. In a plea agreement, another felony charge of wearing a bulletproof vest was dismissed & he was offered zero time to serve.
Again, gang member, why?
4/ Now, six weeks after being released on that sweet deal by Judge Paul Yang, House is charged with 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon involving substantial bodily harm.
New charges say he ran down three people at St. Paul Tap on Sunday over “East Side versus West
Side.”
5/ Adding insult to injury, in the recent gun crime that House pled guilty to, he was pulled over on a "minor traffic stop" when the magazine & guns were found.
The very crimes Ramsey County Attorney John Choi will no longer charge if they are found during a "minor traffic stop."
6/ Why are our prosecutors coddling gang members? Why are judges staying sentences and spinning gang members out the door?
Why are gun crimes not taken seriously in #MN?
All while our fake "leaders" bemoan the rise in "gun crimes."
Shove this in their face next time they cry.

South Minneapolis - Water emergency. A boater said there's a submerged vehicle in the lake 40 ft out on Bde Maka Ska/Calhoun.
3200 E Calhoun Pkwy

2/ The boater told responders there's organic matter covering the vehicle, indicating that it may have been in the water for some time.
Reportedly closer to 35th/36th St on the east side of the lake.
Not considered a "rescue" at this point. Scaling back the response.
3/ A bystander says the sheriff's water patrol put out a marker buoy. Likely will be a production getting it out of the water later.

3/ The person was shot in the face with an entry wound to the cheek, no exit wound. He was awake and alert on the way to the hospital.
We're told there was significant law enforcement activity at the Chanhassen autoplex facility this morning.
We're checking for conformation on the details.
2/ Likely related.
Details of the death and circumstances are not confirmed.
Other posts indicate his specialized vehicle is still missing.
3/
What we've been able to piece together... Part of this took place in Minneapolis overnight and may also be connected to a shooting or death (or other incident) in Chanhassen prior to that.
The above person, Daniel, was apparently found deceased in a downtown Minneapolis apt/condo this morning on Washington Ave S. after being the subject of a welfare check overnight. He was named as the shooter in the Chanhassen incident (which has not yet been disclosed by authorities).
Neighbor from Hell, thread. 1/ John Herber Sawchak, DOB: 05.19.1970
Currently wanted on at least two warrants. One is an assault case from 2022, the other is a civil mental health case where Sawchak was deemed "mentally ill and dangerous."
2/ A police report was made in March in a separate assault case with another neighbor. Formal charges have yet to be filed because Mary Moriarty's office declined to charge a felony. Now the city attorney will review for possible lesser charges.
The same victim has had numerous run-ins with Sawchak as evidenced by the pile of MPD blue cards they've collected.
