1/ Buckle up for this thread.
Minnesota is not serious about gun & gang crimes. #MN is purposely feeding, seeding & fostering gang culture & gun crimes.
Why?
Known gang member Jaqwan Lamar House has been given plea bargains in two gun cases, now charged in a new violent crime.
2/ Why are we giving plea bargains to known gang members, especially on gun crimes?
House, 24, of St. Paul & police say is a Ham Crazy gang member, pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm w/o a permit. One yr sentence stayed in Jan 2021. Instead sentenced to two days time served.
3/ That was despite having another open case for possessing a firearm w/o a permit. House pled guilty to that charge in Aug 2021. In a plea agreement, another felony charge of wearing a bulletproof vest was dismissed & he was offered zero time to serve.
Again, gang member, why?
4/ Now, six weeks after being released on that sweet deal by Judge Paul Yang, House is charged with 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon involving substantial bodily harm.
New charges say he ran down three people at St. Paul Tap on Sunday over “East Side versus West
Side.”
5/ Adding insult to injury, in the recent gun crime that House pled guilty to, he was pulled over on a "minor traffic stop" when the magazine & guns were found.
The very crimes Ramsey County Attorney John Choi will no longer charge if they are found during a "minor traffic stop."
6/ Why are our prosecutors coddling gang members? Why are judges staying sentences and spinning gang members out the door?
Why are gun crimes not taken seriously in #MN?
All while our fake "leaders" bemoan the rise in "gun crimes."
Shove this in their face next time they cry.
