This starts a bit slowly but actually it is rather good.
I just wish the testimony could be fully validated as genuine.

The Zhongnan hospital of Wuhan University is right next to the university ABSL-3 and is close to the mysterious young early patient WH3 (21y old female, ebi.ac.uk/biosamples/sam…)

See DRASTIC searchable map:
google.com/maps/d/u/0/edi…
WH3 is also linked to the PLA hospital of central military command - with genomic file created on December 10 [yes, 10], 2019 as explained by Dr Quay zenodo.org/record/4119263….
@quay_dr
The Wuhan University ABSL-3 was previously a receiver, via EcoHealth Alliance, of NIH R01Al110964 grant money for the purpose of animal testing.

documentcloud.org/documents/2105…, see pages 130-1 and 189.
Interesting mention of the parking lot next to the hospital being used as a mortuary (at 6'35'').
The video is fully in line with what we I have been discussing about people just dying in their homes.
Not tested, not counted.

The estimate of actual numbers (based on the person's discussion with colleagues) is around x14 x18 of official numbers.
It is also in line with this other video, where the journalist impersonated a Wuhan official when calling a city crematorium employee and got her to talk, with an estimated 6% of reported Covid deaths:
The Li Wenliang death details are heart-breaking. Please watch that part at around 36'36''

Not too sure about the conspiracy theory about intended infection - but at least the person says that it is speculative.
The mention of the rather naive last conclusion of the US intel report is spot on (34'58'').

Some people have asked if DARPA funded any project under the PREEMPT request for proposals.

The answer is yes. 5 teams were funded.
We detailed that in our analysis:
drasticresearch.files.wordpress.com/2021/09/defuse…

@ianbirrell @Tantalite @thedeadhandbook @KatherineEban @natashaloder @thackerpd Image
You can even find DARPA unclassified budget for PREEMPT online as part of its FY21 report (a report that is a rabbit hole of its own - no time to go there):

The name is different - makes it a bit fuzzy - but that is PREEMPT most certainly. darpa.mil/attachments/DA… Image
You can see that DARPA is spending on average around $2.5 mln per year per team. So allowing for some tapering off after 3 years, the individual budget per team must average $10 mln or so.

It is in line with the $9.37mln for UCDavis PREEMPT Project:

A great interview of @BricePerrier by @Tantalite in le Point, about the media silence in France on the origins question - very similar to the situation in many other countries.

English Translation (it's becoming my second job):

The conclusion is spot on: Image
With a good evaluation of the importance of the DEFUSE documents that leaked to DRASTIC: Image

@R_H_Ebright Olival is the one who had that very sudden epiphany about the risk of BatCov infection from bat guano ***just one year *** after the 3 people working in the Mojiang mine died with SARS-CoV like symptoms and with IgG+ tests.

doi.org/10.3201/eid190… Image
@R_H_Ebright Nothing was ever mentioned about these Mojiang deaths. Just one of these coincidences.

They had to rush a bit to do that paper, so they used bat guano samples that DARPA had collected back in 2006-7, before EHA was created and could replace them there.

An excellent article in 'Der Spiegel', by @alexsarovic and @VHackenbroch
spiegel.de/wissenschaft/m…
"You don't write such applications out of the blue," says Martin Wikelski, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Behavioural Biology in Radolfzell.
"It really worries me for the future that the experiments conducted were not classified as gain-of-function trials by the researchers," said Karin Moelling, Professor of Virology at the University of Zurich.

For anybody who has any trust left in EchoHealth Alliance and their supposed professionalism, may I remind you of that quote about Aleksei Chmura - EcoHealth Alliance Chief of Staff and the person who sent the DEFUSE proposal to DARPA?
npr.org/transcripts/80…
That quote above was about an EcoHealth Alliance sampling trip to Guilin, Guangxi province (not Guangdong as the NPR piece wrongly states), where Chmura and his Chinese colleagues went looking for SARS-like viruses in bat caves.
And obviously the 4 pages WIV section of the WHO report annexes, most likely redacted by Peter Daszak with its multiples 'Conspiracy Theories' headers, tells us that all work is done with PPE:

Here is an article that scores full points in the Olympics of casuistry.

Main point: 'This is a very important revelation, but it does not change anything because the Authorities tell you so'.

theatlantic.com/science/archiv…
While the authors did some good work checking the authenticity of the DEFUSE documents, they seem to have a few blind spots.

".. nor does it come close to changing the consensus view that the pandemic started from a natural source.:
Which consensus?

- The one of the majority of the press which has been strangely blind to any finding and has happily reprinted the manufactured consensus of Daszak & co?

- The one of the very scientists, spearheaded by Daszak, who perfectly knew about DEFUSE but kept quiet?
