Oscar Pettiford Orchestra – In Hi-Fi, Volume 2, from 1958. I love the way Pettiford holds his cigarette in the Myron Miller photo. However, check out the feet of "O.P.'s Jazz Men". The head of harpist Betty Glamann, featured in Laura, didn't make the cut.

Is bassist Oscar Pettiford the coolest jazz musician of all time? Here he is, with Coleman Hawkins & Howard McGhee, in a scene from The Crimson Canary, 1945. Wish this were a better quality video.
