Adam Levine’s uncle thinks guaranteed healthcare for seniors is “a great idea” that “should happen someday. But it’s really expensive” & the obvious follow up any editor would ask is “Tim, if it should happen someday, when exactly will it not be ‘expensive’? This is nonsensical”

The $350 billion a year was ALREADY the compromise, anyone not centering this fact is carrying water for tens of billions more in cuts that will invariably cut dental coverage for seniors, Medicare expansion and a host of anti poverty measures.

This austerity framework is fake, none of these “deficit hawks” actually care. Indulging it isn’t savvy, & “slimming down” life saving bills like they’re a wedding catering menu isnt cute. It’s partisan ass covering for the emerging consensus to settled for 1/4th of what’s needed
