The paradox of the simultaneous collapse of the Left while it has also become the quasi state religion of the West lies in the nature of it's shifting demographic base. A century ago, Leftist parties represented the urban proletariat. People a single generation removed from the
farm who could be organized into militancy quite readily. It was this militant impulse, give me my demands or I wreck your shit, that frightened establishment authorities and could generate revolutionary potential. The modern Western Left Party draw's it's base from the upper
middle class. This, even more than even aristocracy, is the most reactionary element in a society and the one's least likely to rock the boat less they face the dread specter of downward social mobility and be cast back into the petit bourgeois or horror of horrors, the actual
working class. How do you go about resolving this contradiction? First you abandon any thoughts of militancy and second you start larping as the operetta revolutionary. This is your average Dem-Soc party member best exemplified by your AOC types. The demands are plentiful, the
threats to back them up are gone, and when push comes to shove you vote present and cry. How did a revolutionary Party become a skinsuit for reaction? Why did the Western Left abandon the working class? The reasons are primarily two-fold. The first is the deliberate playing both
sides game of Western intelligence agencies. The ultimate aim of the US during the Cold War was the creation of a docile anti-Soviet left. If the Soviet Union was the eidolon of the Worker's, then Western Leftism must not be about the workers at all. The bourgeoisie must become
the embodiment of Leftist values, which to say the Left must become counter-revolutionary in all the areas that matter to Capital but are free to go wild on any number of social directions that don't touch money. All of the Culture Warriors that CIA money paid for ultimately went
in this direction to create ersatz social revolutions in lieu of economic ones. The second element of why the Left abandoned the workers is the gradual change in racial composition of the working class in the West. Bluntly speaking, Western capitalists are using racial aliens to
schism elite/proletariat networks that drove the revolutionary potential during the early 20th century. By having a ethnically distinct underclass, it undermines inter-class solidarity and has the secondary benefit of impoverishing the native working class and further cleaving
them from elites who could otherwise harness them for revolutionary purposes. Most Western bourgeois Leftists have contempt for their own working class members and are merely patronizing of ethnically different ones.
