🧒 🏥 942 children hospitalised with Covid in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 English hospitals alone in September.

Nearly 1000 children.
How many of them are 12 years and over who WOULD have been able to be vaccinated from 4th June when the MHRA authorised the Pfizer vaccine for 12 year olds and up. But who were not authorised by the JVCI (1 shot) until 4th August (16-17 yr olds) and 4th Sept (12-15yr olds) ?
Were those child hospitalisations taken into account by JVCI or only ICU admissions @chrischirp @dgurdasani ?

How many child hospitalisations since 4th June when MHRA authorised Pfizer for 12-15 yr olds? (16-17 yr olds authorised from the outset by MHRA) @TigressEllie ?
Just looking at deaths. These data goes from 10yr up so might include one 10-11 yr old where vaccine not authorised at all.

But 15 x 15-19 yr olds have died in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 alone since 1st July 2021

Unclear how many 18-19 yr olds

Were these taken into account by the JVCI @chrischirp ?

🙏 @TigressEllie and @Antonio_Caramia
I can see that it would have been impossible to vaccinate those under 12 before 4th June and realistically those hospitalised in June probably could not have been vaccinated in time.
But by vaccinating those 12 yrs and over, you diminish prevalence overall and thus reduce risks of infection, thus hospitalisation and death to those younger as well as those in the authorised age groups.
Whilst we may not be able to get more granular data by each individual year for hospitalisations, ICUs and deaths including for PIMSs, surely the JVCI must have done so.

And it is reasonable to ask them to disclose those granular data which surely must have informed decisions?
If not, then I think transparency as to why not should be explained.

How many people and which primary vaccines was it boosting?

Does anyone have any idea @SGriffin_Lab ?

I know they had carried out trials on monkeys

But I’m not clear how far with humans and the spread of vaccines it has trialled its booster against.

biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
In fact, subsequent to writing this I have discovered SANOFI have carried out a trial using this variant at least on an unvaccinated human cohort of about 700 people.

Now moving on to Part 2/3 trials on previously vaccinated people.
Curious that it seems to be directed at comparing boost to D614 (which I think is the original wild type variant and comparing it to a boost directed at with the S African Beta/B351 variant - not Delta.

I’m reaping this 2018 story as it would not be surprising if this Kazakhstan connection crops up, but also because so does Sir Christopher Geidt - current Independent Advisor on Ministers Interests, previously to the Royals

The Case of the Khrapunovs – thediplomat.com/2018/07/the-ca…
The Royal Connection and (page 2) Christopher Geidt and his sister Felicity before Geidt became the propriety monitor for ministers…

Mmmm
I wonder if the Pandora Papers will provide some extra “insights”

How the story starts

Theresa May’s red-wall support beats Boris Johnson | News | The Times

If just the 18 red wall seats fell, Johnson’s majority of 80 at the 2019 election would shrink to 44. If the extra 14 seats were won by Labour too, his majority would shrink to 16. thetimes.co.uk/article/theres…
The model predicts that four Conservative seats will be won by Labour by crushing margins of 10 points or more: Redcar, North West Durham, Heywood & Middleton and Lincoln.
A handful of seats have become more Conservative: Colne Valley, West Bromwich East, Don Valley, Bishop Auckland & Ashfield.

But there are several more marginal “red wall” seats in the Midlands, NE, NW, Yorkshire & Humber and Wales and the Greens have been gaining ground in some

This is so sad.

Curses on those who spread these lies.

She was only 24, an apprentice hairdresser and a mum to 3 children…who decided not to get her Covid jab, fearing it would do her harm, 'hooked on conspiracy theories' dies of Covid.

Abby was admitted into intensive care at the University Hospital of North Durham, where she spent 17 days battling the virus, after falling seriously ill with Covid at the start of last month.
She died last Wednesday (Sept 22).

It looks as if she realised she was going to die
Whilst in ICU She ordered a full online shop for clothes for the kids saying to her mother “Make sure you look after the kids. Make sure they have the best life they can”.

Guilsborough Academy, Northants, has asked pupils & staff to wear masks again.

They have around 60 students self isolating. Northamptonshire, already high, recorded 4,363 positive coronavirus cases over the last week, an increase of 40% from last week.
northantslive.news/news/northampt…
The largest number of these cases were in the 10-19 age group, and across education settings in the county, there is a 267 seven day average.

Then there’s the outbreaks in Daventry (2), Kettering (2), South Northamptonshire (2) & Wellingborough (1) each with 249 cases
Moulton Science College in Northampton has has a 52 case outbreak in the last week.

Maybe they should do a project following the science instead of DfE advice resulting in shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted?
